A Life on the Railway
Founded in 2008 as a sole proprietorship and structured as a corporation in 2015, our development is based on the long-standing experience gained by founder Ottone Ellecosta as technical manager for Plasser&Theurer Italiana, a subsidiary of the world’s largest manufacturer of railway construction equipment.
The founder’s know-how formed the basis for the company’s success, with efficient maintenance of the fleet being an essential element in ensuring a high standard of work. During track construction, the reaction time to possible breakdowns and failures of the operating machinery is one of the determining factors in the company’s efficiency and productivity

Consolidated experience
In addition to the provision of specialised services, the progressive development of the fleet has allowed access to a further market concerning the sale and rental of rail vehicles, with a particular focus on rail tamping and profiling machines.
Today, Ellecosta Srl is a consolidated and constantly growing company, oriented towards the search for high quality methods in track construction and maintenance.
